Optional items, conditions and sections

Not every item applies to every request. Mark items optional, or show them only when they matter.

Before you startDecide which items are required and when each applies.

Mark an item "Optional" if the request can be done without it.
Use "Only if field" to show an item only when a field has a certain value, for example Priority equals High.
Give items a "Section", such as "Before start" or "Handover", to group them.
Optional items and hidden items do not count toward progress. Progress reads the same everywhere, for example "2 of 5 done".

What you should see

Optional and hidden items do not inflate the required completion count.

An item disappeared. Check its Only if field condition against the request’s current field value.
