Set up RequestOps

What RequestOps changes in Jira

RequestOps adds progress and waiting information. Enabled actions can also update requests in Jira.

ForEveryone; Jira admins choose automatic actions

Before you startReview enabled features in Settings before changing them.

  • It adds a 'What's left' panel and two read-only fields to your requests: 'RequestOps progress' and 'Waiting on'.
  • It can post a comment or message when you or a person on your team sends one. Automatic messages come from the app, never from a person.
  • It does not rewrite workflow definitions or permissions. Enabled actions can create linked tasks, assign requests, and use configured transitions to close or reopen them.
  • It stores settings, templates, request progress and personal preferences. Review automatic actions in Settings before turning them on.
