Put RequestOps on a Confluence page
Three ways to show RequestOps numbers on a Confluence page, and what each reader needs.
- Copy and paste: on any Insights view or the review, choose Share, then "Copy for Confluence", then paste into the page. It brings a heading, the answer and the tables.
- If the chart does not come along, choose "Copy chart image" next and paste it under the text. The pasted copy does not update itself.
- Anyone who can open the Confluence page can read a pasted copy, even without Jira. It carries totals, request keys and team names, never per-person numbers.
- Link: choose "Copy link" and paste it into the page. It opens the live view in Jira for people with access to the same spaces.
- Dashboard: add the RequestOps gadget to a Jira dashboard, then paste the dashboard's link into the page. Readers need access to that dashboard in Jira.
- RequestOps does not write to Confluence and needs no Confluence permission.

What you should see
Readers can see the pasted report or follow a link subject to their Jira access.
If something is not right
The pasted report is stale. Paste a new copy after updating the report. Use a link when readers need the current view.
