Set up RequestOps

What RequestOps does

RequestOps shows what is left before a request is done, and who it is waiting on.

ForEveryone using RequestOps

Before you startOpen RequestOps from Jira Apps.

  • Works in Jira Service Management and Jira. Every request gets a checklist. RequestOps marks items done on its own when Jira shows the work is done.
  • Each request shows who it is waiting on: the customer, an approver, another team, a vendor or your team.
  • Home lists the requests that need you now. Open one to see the checklist, the wait and the latest history.
  • Managers see the same facts as numbers in Insights. Waiting on shows the teams, approvers, vendors and customers your requests wait on right now. Playbooks is where you build checklists, journeys, reviews, legal deadlines and schedules. Settings is where Jira admins turn things on.

What you should see

You can identify what is missing and who needs to act on a request.

If something is not right

Home has no requests. Check the selected spaces and your Jira access. Use example data in Help to explore while your site is being set up.
