Set up RequestOps

Your first 5 minutes

Turn on one checklist, choose who gets nudged and look at where your requests wait.

ForJira admins; space admins can activate their own checklist

Before you startChoose one space with a few representative requests. Keep optional automatic messages off until reviewed.

  1. Open Settings, then Get started. It lists your spaces, with a suggested checklist for each one that has none.
  2. Choose "Review", check the suggestion, then choose "Turn on checklist". RequestOps finds the matching Jira fields by name, then checks every existing request while you watch.
  3. Open Settings, then Messages, then Nudges and messages. Choose whether RequestOps may ask customers again when they do not answer.
  4. Open Insights, then Waiting, to see who your requests wait on.
  5. Go to Home and open the first request that needs you.
  6. In Jira, open any request and press "What's left" under its title to see the same checklist right on the request.
Settings, then Get started. Example data.

What you should see

One checklist is active and you can open a checked request with a meaningful next action.

If something is not right

No checklist is suggested. Create a checklist in Playbooks, choose the space and request types, and turn it on.
