Reviews and deadlines

Track a legal deadline

Track deadlines such as privacy requests and incident reports from the moment they start.

ForAgents tracking deadlines; Jira admins configure rules

Before you startConfirm the applicable deadline and start event with the responsible person.

  1. Open Playbooks, then Clocks. Under "When a clock starts on its own", add a rule. Or choose "Start a clock" and pick a request.
  2. Templates include "GDPR access request", "CCPA request", "DORA major incident", "NIS2 incident" and "SEC 8-K disclosure".
  3. Each stage shows when it is due. Choose "Mark done" and add a note when you finish it.
  4. RequestOps comments 24 hours before a stage is due, and again when it is overdue.
  5. Time spent waiting on the customer moves the due dates where the template allows it.
  6. This is a tracking aid. Check deadlines with your legal team.

What you should see

The request shows stages, due dates and recorded completion notes.

If something is not right

The due date is unexpected. Inspect the start date, chosen template, pause rules and calendar. Confirm legal requirements separately.
