Data on uninstall and personal data
What happens to your data when you remove RequestOps, and how personal data is handled.
- Uninstalling removes access to RequestOps. Atlassian manages retained app storage under its platform retention policy; uninstalling does not immediately erase every copy.
- Jira comments, created work and request records can remain after uninstalling. Review these separately when planning deletion.
- Away lists, access reviews, acknowledgments and personal preferences can identify people through their Jira account reference. RequestOps reports supported stored account data to Atlassian and processes refresh or erasure instructions.
- A Jira admin can export supported settings, campaigns and preferences, or erase supported account references, in Settings, then Jira and data, then Privacy and data.
- Read the exclusions before exporting or erasing. These controls do not cover every Jira comment, request property or free-text copy.
What you should see
You know which data is stored in the app and which records remain in Jira.
If something is not right
Deletion is incomplete. Read the result in Privacy and data. Preserve the error and finish the remaining work before claiming erasure.
