When a request is usually done
RequestOps tells you, and your customer, when a request is usually finished.
- The date comes from similar requests: 85% of them were finished within that many working days.
- Time spent waiting on the customer is not counted, so the date moves when you wait for them.
- With fewer than 10 similar requests, no date is shown.
- A request that has passed its date is marked as taking longer than usual.
- Customers see the date in the portal, in plain words.
What you should see
You can distinguish an estimated completion date from a guaranteed deadline.
If something is not right
There is no date. Fewer than 10 similar requests means there is not enough history to show the estimate.
